HP Enklo 68 is the standard anti-wear grade; HP Enklo HLP 68 is the special-purpose HLP series meeting DIN 51524 Part 2, with a higher additive treat for sophisticated machinery. Both are ISO VG 68 — we stock both.
What is the difference between hydraulic oil 68 and 46?
The number is the ISO viscosity grade. 46 is the general-purpose grade for most industrial hydraulics; 68 is thicker, holding its film at higher operating temperatures and in older systems with more internal clearance.
